We’re hiring a Commercial Insights Senior Analyst / Associate to join our Finance team. This person will bring clarity to complex data sets, distill insights into action, and play a pivotal role in building tools and processes to support Happy Dad’s next phase of growth. You’ll work cross-functionally to inform key decisions at the leadership level and build tools and frameworks that enable smarter, faster execution.

Key Responsibilities:
● Build and manage weekly and monthly reporting using syndicated data sources (e.g., Nielsen, VIP, Circana) and internal systems to track performance, uncover trends, and identify business opportunities.
● Deliver customer-specific insights for Sales leadership, supporting category reviews, Joint Business Planning (JBP) meetings, and ad hoc strategic questions.
● Translate complex, messy, or incomplete data into clear, structured narratives with actionable insights and implications.
● Develop scalable reporting frameworks and maintain Excel- and Power BI-based dashboards to improve performance tracking and decision-making efficiency.
● Conduct root-cause analysis on key performance drivers, helping teams understand what’s working, what isn’t, and why.
● Collaborate with Sales Strategy, Supply Chain, and Executive teams to support demand forecasting, scenario modeling, and planning efforts.
● Maintain and enhance syndicated data processes, ensuring accuracy and reliability of inputs used across the business.
● Serve as a strategic thought partner—proactively identifying high-impact insights and asking the right questions to influence direction.
● Apply structured thinking, hypothesis-driven problem-solving, and executive-level communication to support data-informed decisions across teams.
About You
● Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Statistics, Economics, Business or a related analytical field.
● 3+ years of work experience in management consulting or a fast-paced, insights-driven role at a CPG/FMCG company (alcohol experience is a plus but not required).
● Advanced experience with syndicated data (e.g., Nielsen, IRI, Circana); capable of building compelling, insight-driven stories from large datasets.
● Highly proficient in Excel and comfortable with visualization/reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, or similar).
● Excellent communication skills—able to distill complex data into clear, actionable takeaways.
● Self-starter who thrives in fast-paced, dynamic environments.
● Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to prioritize effectively.
● Comfortable navigating ambiguity and proactive in driving clarity.
Key Partners and Team Structure
● You will report directly to the Director of Strategic Finance.
● You’ll work closely with the Sales Strategy team, acting as a key liaison between Finance, Sales, and cross-functional stakeholders.
● You’ll collaborate frequently with the Supply Chain and Executive teams, providing insights that shape commercial decisions.
● You’ll also interface with our external data providers (e.g., Nielsen, VIP, Circana) to ensure accuracy and efficiency in reporting and analysis.
● This role sits at the intersection of strategy, analytics, and execution—making you a critical thought partner as Happy Dad scales across channels and geographies.
