Responsibilities:
- Build new user-facing experiences for both desktop and mobile.
- Build and maintain production services and database infrastructure.
- Implement best practices in database security, backup, and recovery processes.
- Improve our data pipeline and caching services.
- Develop reusable and modular components on both the frontend and backend.
- Develop data sorting and manipulation techniques, to support business intelligence and reporting needs.
- Document and enforce standard operating procedures to ensure consistency among team members.
Requirements:
- Experience with React, Python, SQL, and Docker.
- Capable of building user-facing experiences and custom backend queries.
- Strong portfolio of projects demonstrating database management and object-oriented programming skills.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and strong communication skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with cloud services (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and their managed database offerings.
- Understanding of security best practices, including data protection and authentication.
- Understanding of building scalable systems.

Pay: $120K - $150K CAD
